Crazy Stitcher in the Attic

The crazy lady in the attic is something of a literary trope. Think Jane Eyre, Wide Sargasso Sea or Great Expectations. (Actually, the first two books share the same tragic lady but from different perspectives). With my sewing atelier now fully established in the attic of this creaky, coastal Maine house, and given all of my wildly ambitious ideas that involve mad cutting, speed maxxing on my sewing machine, pins, needles and scraps flying everywhere, I am pretty sure I AM now that crazy lady in the attic.
At the very least, I am crazy about making clothes. How about you?
