Mahlia Kent is the French fabric house that famously supplies Chanel with their iconic wovens. I adore this fabric but could only get this one last perfect square! Not sure who they made it for (Mahlia Kent does custom weavings for clients) but it's gorgeous. Just the right color of pink. Soft and light but with a smack of mauve so the color is neither fussy nor too feminine. With the metallic silver stars, this perfect square of fabric is a bit rock and roll. I bought it thinking it could make someone a really fun vest, maybe lined with sherpa? NB I do not have the exact content of this fabric. Typical of Mahlia Kent, it's a mix of fibres including cotton and viscose.
